This year, the Milton Keynes Safeguarding Board is holding a joint safeguarding children and adults conference – ‘Tackling Exploitation: Safeguarding Children and Adults in Milton Keynes’.
The event will take place on Friday 17th November 2017 at the Arena MK, Stadium MK in Milton Keynes, 9.15am – 1pm.
An impressive line-up of speakers will be speaking about the following safeguarding issues:
- Prevent and Radicalisation – Miriam Bentley-Rose
- Online Exploitation – Lorin LaFave, of Breck Foundation
- Modern Slavery – Alison Gardner, of Nottingham University, and the organisation ‘Unseen’
Delegates will also receive important information regarding the new safeguarding partnership arrangements in Milton Keynes.

Conference places are offered at a competitive price of £35-00 per person, which includes a light brunch and free parking.
